Hypercalcaemia in pregnancy is a rare but important finding, given the associated potential risks to mother and baby. These include hypertension, pancreatitis, nephrolithiasis and renal failure in the mother and intrauterine growth restriction, neonatal hypoparathyroidism/hypocalcaemia and stillbirth in the baby (1).
